With both part-time and full-time options available, we are flexible to meet your family’s needs.

Ms.Tameika is great with children.Many children take a liking to her and get attached. She has such a caring and loving spirit and goes above and beyond to make sure your child is in a safe and comfortable environment. She will also help children learn with many creative activities, from their abc's to learning to potty train if necessary. Her experience ranges from working in Long Beach Unified School District to Montessori schools. If you are looking for a trusted daycare Ms. Tameika is the place to bring your child.
From the moment I brought my daughter here, at only 2 months, I felt she was with someone who would treat her well! I am extremely happy with the care my daughter receives, as Tameika goes above and beyond for the children she watches (crafts, tutus on Valentines’ Day, etc.). Super sweet care provider, we are glad to have found you! ❤️

Felt the need to vouch for Ms.Tameika. She is top-notch in the care she gives for my daughter. My daughter was enrolled in a State operated daycare/school she was having rashes and sicknesses every other week with me working I couldn’t take off as often. Ever since she’s been in care of Tameika my baby is perfectly fine rarely is sick. She is 2 years old and has surprised me with how advanced my child is from learning her numbers to identifying things that kids in preschool are learning. Overall as a first time parent you’re always very careful with who is in care your child I wouldn’t trust anyone but Ms. Tameika & her family to take care of her she has made the process so relieving & smooth. We appreciate her so much.

Listen ! I don't know where to start with Tameika! Naturally as a mommy, I was scared to leave my babies anywhere. I was so use to either them being with their dad or another close family member. Not only was Tameika able to make me feel comfortable leaving my children in her care, but she made my babies comfortable and that was the most important part for me. Especially for my 2 year old because she's normally slow to warm up. My kids have been apart of Lackey family day care since the end of last year and I don't regret it one bit. My daughter has learned so much in so little time. Tameika has came up with many ways in which she makes learning fun for the babies. I strongly encourage anyone who is looking for childcare and hesitant like I was to check her out. My daughter comes home everyday looking forward to going back to day care everyday. Tameika shows pure compassion for each child. She goes above and beyond to make sure each child's individual needs are met. Hats off to Lackey Family Daycare! Thank you for being so amazing.
